Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Houston peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I’ve come here several times with my family and it never disappoints. Whenever I’m craving Taiwanese dessert, this is where I go. This time we ordered the Shaved Ice Signature and the Black Sugar Boba Shaved Ice. The large portion is enough for 4-5 people to finish. The signature has a great balance overall and it is not too sweet, however the black sugar boba was on the sweeter side for me. The service was fast and the workers were friendly. Overall, it’s a great summer’s treat and cool down from the heat.

I've been here a number of times we my friends and we keep coming back. We love it here! The desserts are beautiful and delicious. The shaved ice are pretty big and even shared with 3 people we fill up. The workers are nice and polite and there are also games for you to play here. The atmosphere here is very good. Parking can be a bit tough but other than that it's good. Will of course be back again.

This desert shop is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition and definitely underrated on google. They offer a wide range of intriguing items at incredibly reasonable prices. Their shaved ice creams are a must-try. It’s a fantastic spot to unwind with friends and indulge in delectable Asian-inspired desserts. I highly recommend visiting this place and making it a regular stop.

Always come here when in the area. This time we tried the brown sugar shaved ice and was very surprised when it came out because it was huge. Tasted very yummy. It came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, boba, flan, and red beans. The bubble waffle is always good. The Jasmine milk tea had a good taste as well. Strong jasmine flavor and it wasn't too sweet. However, the boba in it was kinda mushy like overcooked. Highly recommend and will be returning.

Overall - a delicious dessert experience if you’re a fan of grass jelly, mochi balls, and icecream. Food: plenty of options to choose from but be wary that they don’t let you substitute stuff from the built in bowls alrdy (although you can do that at other locations). Price is kinda expensive for the portion but they r easily shareable in terms of the dessert bowls. We got the double taro bowls but ended up not really the taro bc the paste had a weird texture. Was told if you do mix it w everything, the texture goes away n makes the dessert sweeter (I thought it was perfectly sweet enough without). Also skip out on the bubble waffle. Twas mid. Service: decent given how busy it was when we came. Did take a bit for it to come out, so maybe expect a 5-15 min wait. Atmosphere: it is a very cozy and cute vibe. Thought the map added to the aesthetic. Main issue is spacing and table availability. Expect a huge wait for open space if it’s bc bc every spot was filled up while there. Liked how there was some games you could play with. Warning: parking can get very hectic so be aware of limited parking spots.
